Having recently undergone a multi -million dollar refurbishment, Stamford Plaza Auckland has cemented its place as Auckland's premiere central city 5 star hotel. The hotel offers 286 Guest Rooms and Suites, complimented by a variety of conference and meeting venues.
As Business Development Manager - Corporate, you will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounts and business for Stamford Plaza Auckland, with a specific focus on the Corporate market segment.
To successfully fill this role, you will:
- Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
- Have an impeccable level of personal presentation
- Have an ability to achieve and excel under pressure
- Have an understanding of sales principles and their implementation
- Have demonstrated new business development, relationship building and account management skills
- Have a client-centric approach, committed to fully understanding needs in order to provide the most appropriate and effective solutions

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Knowledge of Hotel Property Management Systems including Opera and Delphi.
- Previous experience in the same or similar role.
